A note from our General Manager

Update:  For those that were not able to join us for the dynamic torque meter discussion at the Turbo Show in Houston, we have put up a copy of the presentation on YouTube. Our Torque meter technology has been in the field for 40 years.  With a minor change to the existing technology it has allowed us to make the upgrade from our standard torque meter to the dynamic torque meter in one very easy step.  We hope that our video on the strengths of our dynamic torque meter as well as the ease of implementation will be of interest to you.

What’s new at Riverhawk? Blogs. OK, blogs aren’t new, but it is a new piece to our website. In talking to our customers and potential customers, we’ve found that many have a limited knowledge of breadth of issues that we work with here at Riverhawk, let alone the fact that we have over 400 years of engineering experience in rotational dynamic issues and solutions for our customers. As we move forward we’d like to share a number of those issues and some of the solutions that we have come up with as well as hearing back from you about some of the issues that you may have that we might be able to share some insights. We hope that you will find this to be a helpful addition to our website. We look forward to hearing your comments here or in person!

Riverhawk will again be at the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposium in Houston, from September 12 – 15, 2016. We will be doing a presentation on our Dynamic Torque Monitoring System in the Discussion Group T17: Torsional Vibration and Monitoring, September 14, 2016 10:30am to 12:00pm . If this is an interest area of yours, please join us at the show (Booth 1927)!
