Problem:
Installation of the traditional crosshead hex jam nut was difficult with unpredictable pre-loading using the turn-of-nut method.
Solution:
Original jam nuts replaced with Riverhawk Hydraulic Tensioned Nut (HTN). The hydraulic nuts incorporate a spherical washer for ease of alignment.
