The Flange Tensioner is a light weight, compact and versatile line of tensioners. It operates at a maximum pressure of 21,750 psi and utilizes high strength AISI 4340 steel components for long lasting performance.
The Flange Tensioner is among the lightest weight and smallest overall diameter of bolt tensioners in its class. It offers a spring return piston that eliminates the need to press the piston back after each use. This design features an over stroke stop that prevents seal damage and leakage that also has a visual color coded indicator to identify maximum stroke. The FL Series were designed to fit on ASME 16.47, ASME 16.5, & API 6A flanges. Standard Catalog sizes cover stud diameters 1” up to 4”.
