Torque Metering System

Measure and record torque for rotating machinery, test stands, and shipboard applications. Retrofittable to existing couplings and shafts with minimal modification.

Torque Metering System

Product Overview

Riverhawk Torque Meter Systems are capable of retrofitting to existing couplings and shafts with minimal modification. The system uses non-contact strain gage technology — a rotating transmitter ring and stationary receiver — eliminating the wear and maintenance issues of brush-and-slip-ring systems.

The Riverhawk torque metering product line traces its roots to the Indikon product line, which has been producing strain gage based torque measuring systems since the late 1970s. This heritage of measurement expertise is embedded in the design of every modern Riverhawk torque metering system.

Systems are compatible with Bently Nevada monitoring platforms and provide real-time torque data to plant DCS/SCADA systems via standard signal outputs.
