The Peak Shaver Safety Hub protects turbomachinery shafts against torque spikes without requiring equipment shutdown. When a torque spike occurs, the Peak Shaver absorbs and dissipates the energy of the event, protecting connected shafts and machinery from damage.
Unlike the Torque Blocker — which disconnects shafts during an extreme overload — the Peak Shaver is designed to handle repeated, lower-magnitude torque spikes that occur during normal operation. The system resets automatically, requiring no manual intervention after an event.
