From Start-Up to Global Leader
Since 1993, Riverhawk has grown from a small hydraulic tooling operation to a world-class precision engineering company serving the most demanding industries on the planet.
Founded
Riverhawk Company was founded by a group of engineers with a vision to become a solutions provider in hydraulic tooling. Started as a 'buy and assemble' operation focused on the power generation market.
Indikon Acquisition
Riverhawk acquired the Indikon product line — a legacy brand of torque and vibration measuring devices serving turbomachinery markets since the late 1970s.
CNC Manufacturing Buildout
Transitioned from hand-tool assembly to a full precision manufacturing facility. Investment in CNC machining capabilities enabled in-house production of high-tolerance components.
Free-Flex® Pivot Line
Launched the Free-Flex® Pivot product line — frictionless, zero-wear flexural pivots designed for aerospace, semiconductor, and precision motion control applications.
Global Market Expansion
Grew into a dominant global supplier of precision turbomachinery components, serving OEMs and end users in power generation, petrochemical, nuclear, and offshore energy markets worldwide.
Diaphragm Coupling Innovation
Expanded the diaphragm coupling product line to include high speed, low speed, and reduced moment configurations. Became an authorized supplier for GE, Siemens, and other major OEMs.
API 671 Compliance
Riverhawk's hydraulic clamping hub technology achieved compliance within API 671 5th Edition, replacing traditional hub installation methods and setting a new industry safety standard.
Continual Innovation
With 14 CNC machines and 21 conventional machine tools, Riverhawk continues to develop custom engineered solutions for the world's most demanding industrial environments.
